At 1 pound, 8 ounces, 700g, per boot (size 27), the Alien 1.0 is the randonee racer?s choice, and the majority of skiers standing on the podium in Ski Mountaineering races are skiing this boot.

The 1.0 is also the first ski boot in the world to use the Boa® Closure System on the exterior of the ski boot.

This on-the-fly speed dial closure technology is extremely light, and offers very quick adjustment and a glove-like fit for top performance, comfort and speed in a variety of conditions?up and down.

Other features include a carbon-fiber upper cuff, and a unique lower-boot construction made with polyamide on the exterior and a carbon-fiber internal core, which provides a rigid but more agile-performance over all-carbon construction, yet still keeps the boot very light.

The ?A-Light? quick-release walk/ski mode lever is very precise, easy to use, super light, and ultra-quick to transition between ski/walk modes.
